Okay, so I'm buying a coffee in a hurry during the five minute break in class.
The supervisor looks frazzled and made sure the first words out of her mouth when she opened the door was "I'm opening three minutes early for you guys". (I almost walked back out. In retrospect I should have.)
I only have two 20 dollar bills in my wallet (yes I'm sure), so I can't give them $1.61 like I usually do.
I get my coffee from the cashier, walk out, put my coffee down because something said 'count your change'. I had a five and three singles and a 20. Fuck. She gave me change for $10.
I go back in and explain. She has to get the manager because she doesn't know how to get into the till. The manager comes over and riffles through the nearly empty drawer and holds the till up so I can see it and says "There's not even a 20 in here."
Fine, but I know what I gave her.
She snaps at the girl to get my phone number and they'll call me at the end of the day if the till's over.
I make sure I give the nice young lady my information and then run back to class late and out ten bucks.
There had been at least one customer between me and my noticing the error.
Anybody wanna take bets on where my twenty mysteriously went?
Plus, now I've had to deal with a surly snotty bitch who as good as called me a liar and con artist.
Which made the coffee taste more bitter than usual.
At least I won't have to go back and deal with the lovely woman again because the drawer will balance.
As often as not they aren't even open when the class gets it's break because they open at 9am then close by 2pm. Sometimes someone has figured this out and opens a few minutes early to catch the crowd, other times we get out for break late.
I don't think I'm going to bother her with my patronage again.
(Bitch, bitch, bitch...get over it!)

Okay, I hit that link (figuring it's bears or raccoons or something furry and funny) and got a message that my Gmail account is not currently availalble. (WTF?)
If you just hit my computer with something nasty and I can't do my classwork and lose everything on my hard drive you are in SO MUCH TROUBLE....

Also what should I have for lunch? I forgot mine at home. I was leaning towards a salad and some homemade chips.

Sounds tasty!
Have you brushed potato wedges with oil, garlic, and rosemary, then baked them to crispy perfection before? Nom.

Actually... I have. They are good. Sometimes I'll only bake them slightly and then fry them up like home fries. Good stuff.
I ended up having a quesadilla instead of a salad.

Is it a contradiction to work for "Blue Sun" AND be a Browncoat?
'Cause, what if they're the only game in town (alright, it's like a few towns away) job wise?
