Borderlands video game -- firefly references

Someone may have posted this before, but I'm wondering if anyone else has played Borderlands and if they have come across Firefly references.

I started getting suspicious when Lilith the Siren had a "Firefly Class Mod" but what pushed me over the edge was the mission in which we have to kill a man named "Jaynis Kobb" who has set up his own little town called "Jaynistown". Anyone else find anything?

I have only recently started playing and haven't run into any references yet, but will most certainly be on the look out for them now.

So it looks like Borderlands has a bunch of pop culture references. This link only mentions one from firefly (Jaynistown). http://borderlands.wikia.com/wiki/Borderlands_pop_culture_references

been slight while since i last played it, had not reached the jaynetown thingy myself, but yes i have heard of it through a friend of mine

My brother's playing that,and just said he ran into another reference: he just killed a guy named Reaver who's thing was he liked to cut on people.
