Vegetables, m'lady! Eat veggies & sprinkle cheese to sate your appetite! Add some olive oil too!
Then do Kung-fu!!!!!

Chrisisall, if I had feelings, they would be wounded. Should I develop feelings at a future date, I shall read your wounding post, and be wounded.

If there is to be a Firefly Fit Club, I simply must participate. I know very little about "fitness", but a bit about eating, grunting and wiggling: weight lifting. Should anyone be desperate enough, and foolish enough, I've been battling my natural frailty and high metabolism for over a decade, and have learned af few tricks.

I enjoy kicking sand into people's faces. Not from malice, mind you, but rather the joy of inspiring others to reach their potential. Most of my advice and encouragement would consist of making statements like "stop doing teh yogas and squat moar!!!1" or "stop eating teh veggies and protein moar!!!!1"...and posting pictures of myself, flexing, with my face replaced with that of Cookie Monster.

Dude, a "polite effue"? I deserve more than that. I deserve a malicious effue.

But seriously, that kung fu stuff might be fun, but do you get any anaerobic exercise? Every man, and woman, ought to squat til they yak at least once. It makes you feel all masculine and alive and stuff.

Most folk I know that are getting into fitness are content to fix their diet, and jog a little, which is all fine and dandy. But they neglect the "Riddle of Steel", which is not. Krom demands that we lift, dude.

Grrrr Arghhh effue!

Run from your car to your job, take stairs two at a time, stretch during work, do isometrics at quiet times.

Rent "Ip Man" to see how to move.

You got it, SJ! An online support group! What kind of dancing? I took a ballet class in high school and it was so much fun!

Anyway, Saturday I had one of my evil 4 am work shifts, so I was pretty worn out, but I did manage to get some yoga in. Yesterday, I didn't do an extra physical activity.

Tonight I'm hoping to either a)go for a bike ride or b) do a circuit or 2 of this plyometric workout I read about.

Soooo... Ended up doing 6.5 miles on Friday morning, 6.5 on Saturday morning, and only 6.3 on Sunday morning (but it was a more hilly route).

My buddy that I rode with Sunday wasn't up for a third lap of our route (the Veloway at Circle C), but I actually felt like I could have done it without too much pain. As it is, my legs are a *little* stiff today. I'll take the day off, since it's raining. Well, I still have to walk the dogs this evening, so that's a mile of walking to loosen up a bit. :)

All in all, not a bad weekend's work, topped off with a trip to the farmer's market to load up on fresh goodies for the week!

On this matter, make no mistake. I want you to go fuck yourself long and hard, as well as anyone who agrees with you. I got no use for you.

Friday, May 28, 2010 - 18:26 To President Obama:
Mr. President, you're a god damn, mother fucking liar.
Fuck you, you cock sucking community activist piece of shit.
... go fuck yourself, Mr. President.

Lifted weights today, then flexed in mirror while huskily groaning my own name. Mildly confused by my awesome fitness, considering that my diet consists of bacon and ice cream and other garbage.
