I'm a CHUCK fan, and while I certainly wouldn't call it bad news, it's far from the best news ever.

The article makes me a little nervous, in fact. Tons of stunt casting is often a sign of the beginning of the end, and it looks like CHUCK is going all out this season.

I'd heard the news that Linda Hamilton had been cast as Chuck's mom while watching the SDCC live coverage on G4. There was an interview Zachary Levi & Joshua Gomez were talking about the upcoming season and the casting of Hamilton was discussed.

There was also talk that Olivia Munn will be starring on an episode of Chuck this season.

Yeah, I heard the news from Comic-Con. This is a major coup by a major network, let alone a prime time show.

Boy I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall during that meeting. This is indeed GREAT news. Linda, to me, is a fantastic sci-fi icon of the first order. I can't wait to see the interaction between her and Adam.

Imagine - Scott Bakula (Quantum Leap) as Chuck's father and now Linda Hamilton (Terminator) as his mother. What could possibly be bigger than having Sarah Connor as your mom. I'm in geek heaven.

Chuck should be very interesting this fall.

I'm not really impressed at all. She's got nerd credentials of course, but I don't really care at all about her as an actress. All I even know here from is the terminator movies and one episode of Frasier.

Nicole Richie was annoying enough the first time. I can't believe they're bringing her back.

I understand Olivia Munn just because she seems to have a major following of fanboys. She doesn't do anything for me personally. Especially the few times I've seen her try to act on the daily show. I can act as well as she can.

I gotta agree that Hamilton is a "meh." Really, what's she been in other than Terminator/T2? I trust the people running Chuck, though, so I'll let them impress me.
