There's a really good interview with Alan Tudyk over at IGN Film Force, here's an excerpt:

IGNFF: Are you working on the Firefly movie, Serenity, right now?

TUDYK: Shooting it right now.

IGNFF: Will that be a theatrical release?

TUDYK: The plan is a theatrical release unless something terrible happens, but I don't expect it to. They're already talking about an April release next year... There's actually a lot of things that can happen, especially when you're using so many visual effects. [It's got] a pretty big budget. We made the first pilot, which was a two-hour pilot for Firefly, for 12 million. We've got 50 to make the movie, which is two hours, so you can just imagine what we're able to do. Everything's just better. Our costumes are better, they rebuilt the spaceship; I was flying the spaceship on Tuesday all day long. It's great. We have a better mule.

Heh, AT is so funny at times. I've seen him in most of the movies mentioned in the article except for 28 Days (mostly because it didn't seem appealing with the whole Sandra Bullock thing) and I, Robot, which looks like another mindless sci-fi action flick. I'm glad he's doing great and hope to see more of him on the silver and (hopefully) small screen.
