Serenity artwork... multiple systems??

Looking at the new Serenity artwork, specifically the star and planet charts, It looks to me like multiple stars hence multiple systems (one system couldnt possibly have that many habitable planets anyhows). Wonder if Joss will go into that at all in the movie.
