I just finished watching Heart of Gold for the whatever number of times. Zoe and Wash have the argument on whether or not to have a baby in which Zoe decides they are. This sounds like it would have been a big arc and I cant help but wonder how it would have been resolved. It seems to me theres a better chance of Zoe dying than having a baby.
So along with the obvious arcs of River, Book's alliance ties, Inara's past, what other things do you think Joss had planned for the show?
I can't wait for the movie but sometimes i think of the idea of Firefly: Season 5 and itd would be so incredible its hard to comprehend! (or is it understand :P) I can't help but worry were missing out by having a movie. Bring it back to TV! grr arg

The trauma that Zoe has suffered in the past and the stress of her everyday life will certainly make conception problematic. Perhaps the crew could get conselling from Book towards a Serenity child, whereby a young, untroubled woman could give birth to a child that would be loved and nutured by the whole Serenity family rather than just its blood relatives.

I prefer to think about it this way: better the movie than nothing at all.
