July 16 Impromptu 'Versal Meetup?

Some of us are going to be a long time getting over the bad timing (and bad judgement) that kept us from meeting up with Wiley & co. Monday But that's air through the engine. Time to stop being bitter and move on (yeah, right).

Well, this isn't formal enough for a Shindig, but this Friday, July 16, I will be with a small group treading the hallowed grounds of Universal Studios and remembering what might have been. If anyone else is thinking of going then, we could meet, compare notes, find the famous talking shrub, take pictues of the PA's, etc. I know ERIN9277 and POLGARA at least mentioned they were considering going this Friday. Maybe there's other So Cal folks that would be up for it.

So if there's any interest, post away and we'll figure a time and place. I'll be wearing an orange shirt (no orange hat available).

Yeah, and if wishes were horses we'd all be eatin' steak.

It wasn't a big deal, Erin. Not much of a deal at all, really. We did take a "VIP tour", so we got to walk around the outside of Stage 12 a bit seeing some production facilities. Alan walked by our group, noticed my grin and wave, and he smiled brightly and waved back. So I got to explain to the group who the famous person was that passed by. I also found the famous Browncoat Bushes, but it was while they were busy filming, so not much to see.

By the way, he was wearing a Hawaiian shirt.
