Welcome to you both Pearlat32 & Atreyu. Glad to have both of you w/ us. Hope you both find enough of interest here to post w/ us often.

As everyone else has said penance is not necessary. Of course you do have the same obligation as every other Browncoat, which is to spread the word on the DVD set and the upcoming movie to as many people as you can convert. We need every fan we can get to make the BDM (Big Damn Movie) a success.

I am new to the board as well. I purchased my set of firefly dvd's about three months ago, and just joined the message board. My husband was the one that got me into the series, and we stayed up one night, we watched the entire season in one night sadly. I really wished that there was more to the Firefly series. Thank goodness for Joss, going to Universal to start the BDM!! I can't wait to see it! I actually got my mother into the show and she is now hooked as well. I unfortunately I didn't see the show when it was on fox. Atreyu, I would have to agree, I am here now please put me to work! I can't WAIT until the movie is out.

awesome! thank you so much! can't wait to read it!

as for doing my duty to spread the word, i've already begun. i've been supplying my boss with his buffy and angel needs for the past year or so. i got him hooked on the slayerverse about a year ago and have been loaning him my dvds since. he requested borrowing one of the seasons he hasn't seen yet, but i told him he can't have it until he watches firefly first. i'm bringing him the first disc in tomorrow.

Thanks for the welcome. Of course I've got the set. I love this place. I feel so at home. The OB scares me, but I posted for the first time last night anyway.

There's a lot of ranting over there and some cliques. It's hard to fit in with cliquish boards. But there's so much to browse over here. And I didn't even know about "DOA." Awesome.
