I was looking at what's open now, and nothing really grabs my attention. Then I looked at what's coming out.... meh.

A couple of titles , here and there are somewhat interesting, but nothing l'm really looking forward to and counting down until its release.

IronMan2 was pretty good. Worth my time and $$, imo.

But to be honest, the last real cool flick where I was pleasantly surprised was last summer's MOON.

So far all I've seen is the "A-Team", it was so-so. I wanted to see "The Runaways", but it was in select theaters and none of the theaters around here were selected.

The only one I can think of right now that I'm looking forward to is Inception, which opens July 16.

I'm trying to remember how many times I've been to the theater this year, but the only one I can recall is The Road, but that was at the discount theater and it's regular (and very short) run was late last year. I have watched quite a few things on DVD, mainly from Netflix, a mixture of old and new(ish).

The average for me is probably somewhere in the vicinity of 1% of all films made might be watchable.

Kickass was wildly entertaining. Can't wait for Robert Rodriguez's Machete in September. I'm sure the other six people who viewed Grindhouse in theaters will agree with me. I'll probably give Predators a whirl since he is also attached to that project, plus the cast is quite impressive. Above all others I really can't wait to see Tron 2.

I normally see 1-3 flicks per week. Looking forward to that Stallone/Schwartzenegger flick, looks like all-star casting.
Been out of it a bit, looked at the theater and am likely to see Airbender, Kinght and Day, Grown ups, Maybe New Moon. Not interested in Iron Man2 or Shrek.

There's not really that much catching my attention, too.

And often enough, it is a disappointment.

Or let's say, it doesn't lives up to the expectations.

The last film I enjoyed was How to train your Dragon.
I liked the twists, it wasn't your standard animation film.

That and Kick Ass are about the only ones I'd consider paying movie tic prices to see.

Not having the time to relax opens the
first door to an early workaholic death. ;-)

But, of course, there's the first golden rule,
don't look shitty movies, if it is avoidable.
