Hi. Well, I forgot what scene in Serenity the described following is in. Does anyone remember which scene depicts Mal looking at Inara's photo? Thanks!

He's alone in his room, looking at the capture, as we hear a partial voiceover by Kaylee ("...one by one, just like Inara.") from the end of the previous scene.

The previous scene being Kaylee and Jayne talking in the cargo bay as Jayne disposes of the reaver corpse and craft parts left from the barnswallow, IIRC.
And I think that was a wave card, not actual picture. Or vid card.

I love that scene, where Kaylee is documenting the evidence of an actual companion having worked on Serenity, and in this very bed! .... then we see River, in the back ground, lean over and sniff the sheets....

cracks me up every time.
