A very popular page, with over 100,000 hits, is broken -- the last half of the “Dead or Alive” script is missing. That whole page at www.fireflyfans.net/feature.asp?f=45 , which I saved years ago, is available as a zip file called

I would have send this message only to Haken but my messages are not being delivered today. I tested by sending two to myself. I guess I'm special. Everything I touch I break.

I was thinking the videogame with scantily clad women fighting. Half missing seemed about right for the plot and the costumes.

The missing part of the script for Dead or Alive mentioned Mal's idealistic wartime motto:

Mal's feelings get seriously hurt when his own noble words are repeated back at him.

And somebody must have restarted a mail server because 4 messages from fireflyfans.net arrived all at once, many hours late.

According to the Way Back Machine, the “Dead or Alive” page went funky looking between Sept and Nov 2007

Even the page count went coo-coo. The Times Read numbers were running backwards, getting smaller between Sept and Nov.
