We can't possibly fathom the amounts of oil gushing into the Gulf on a daily basis, but the Unreal engine, which powers many of the games that I've been playing for years, can at least give you an idea of what 25,000 of those barrels will look like if you were standing next to them.

Frightening. And the true horror of it is, it's more than that many barrels, every day, day in, day out - and it's all being "diluted" in water. That SHOULD sound like some sort of comfort, that it's being diluted, but it's deadly to the marshlands and the wildlife in a dilution in the parts-per-million range, so the dilution into the water column just makes it MORE deadly, MORE wide-ranging, effectively acting as a disaster multiplier, begetting millions of barrels of death per day. Every day. Day in, day out.

On this matter, make no mistake. I want you to go fuck yourself long and hard, as well as anyone who agrees with you. I got no use for you. --Auraptor

This vile and revolting malice - this is their true colors, always has been, you're just seeing it without the mask of justifications and excuses they hide it behind, is all. Make sure to remember it once they put the mask back on. --Fremdfirma
