I found the main fight scene between the two protagonists to be amongst the twenty best ever filmed. If that doesn't sound too ridiculous.

Nah, it was pretty good, more realistic, anyways.

I'm also rather against the idea of a remake - not just cause hollywood needs to find new material instead of rehashing everything to death, but because this glorious little B-flick just doesn't work without rowdy roddy, yanno ?
