One thing I do know is that the Reavers hit a town, and it's not Shadow. They do a pretty good number on that town. Adam basically told me how the movie starts. I do love hearing these ideas. Some of you are close, and some are far away.

I don't we will see the Reavers all that well. I bet when we see them it'll be dark so we only see occasional glympses of them.

I always wondered if that line was meant to be taken literally.
Given the technology to terraform a planet, it wouldn't be any problem to destroy one. And the Alliance seems calous enough to do so despite the waste.
Maybe there's a reason that Mal can't go back to his childhood home on Shadow...
