Hard to find much besides a bare bones IMDB page that says the release is sometime next year and an interview confirming Keanu Reeves as playing Spike which I'm okay with. Anyone hear anything else about this?
Personally I'm stoked. I loved every part of the show except the part where it's anime.

It's been "in development" for a year and a half or so. But it doesn't really seem to have all that much momentum, and has not been "green lit". There is apparently a script, based on the first few episodes of the series. They've probably gone through a few drafts now. Keanu is also producing, but he's had trouble getting other projects off the ground lately.
Fingers crossed, I think it could be cool.

I feel exactly the opposite. It's perfect the way it is and should not be touched by Hollyweird.

Link to a video where Reeves explains the state of the script. Unfortunately, the interview cuts off before he answers a question about who might/is going to play the other characters.

Dude, wouldn't Adam Baldwin make a great Jet?

Not quite how 'd picture him, but yeah, I could live with that.

Now you've done it, every time I even think about this I can't see anyone but Summer as Radical Edward...

Unfortunately I can't see anyone from the series making a good Faye.

Given the similarities between the shows, I don't think we need to cast it all with BDHs....
