Alan is interview in the new SFX, only briefly (also has some stuff on the Buffy cartoon which I think is old news but nice confirmation that things are moving) -

-he's still not the action hero, "I land the ship and I go, "Be careful, everybody!" and they get off the ship and do these amazing extraordinary things and they come back and I go, "Thank God, you made it! Strap in, I'm going to fly!"

- they just shot a landing sequence for a planet that has been "burned up and destroyed"

- Storyline is (I think, but may be wrong), firmed up a little for the first time - "Simon and River are still wanted by the Alliance... a new agent is assigned (Chiwetel Ejiofeor)... he's the new agent and he's very, very good at his job... We also mentioned the Reavers in the TV series... You will be seeing them in the movie and they are scary. That stuff's exciting!"

Hmmm, spoilery goodness...

My guess is the planet will be one hit by the Reavers.

I had truly hoped that they would not actually show the Reavers in the BDM, but it looks as if they will do so. To me the Reavers were scary because we did not see them, like the boogey man.

I can only trust that Joss will make them as terrifying as possible if them must actually be on camera.

I think that sooner or later, they'd have shown the Reavers in the TV show. They're billed as such scary guys. . . at some point you've got to show the monsters or they'll become 'so what?' I'm actually quite happy about their being revealed in the movie; that just means bigger budget, better costuming!

Still, speculating about the Reavers' society and looks was fun. . . I just hope that they live up to my dreams.

Actually, it would be nice to show the Reavers seeing as how I'm not really afraid of them like I should despite Jayne's initial reaction in "Bushwacked".

Bahh Alan is a Hero. He just doesn't want to admit it. I mean, he has to FLY. Flying can't be too easy when you have someone chasing after you. They all live, he's a Hero ^-^.

O_o Shadow? That sounds familiar. It would be strange if it was the battleground that Serenity took place though.

What is Wash's line in the pilot? 'Here's something you can't do...' something like that - the Crazy Ivan was DEFINITELY the move of a hero :)
