Obviously inspired by The Matrix, this is however a must-see SF flick on par with "I, Robot."
Willis once again proves why he is a STAR.
12 Monkeys & Unbreakable have nothing over this one.
Rent it or buy it NOW.

Must say 12 Monkeys was better.
I conjure after the project Avatar began, Surrogates was the quick-coup flick, cheaper and hastier and released first, knocking out some wind from the Avatar work.

Methinks the base source of Avatar predates The Matrix. Perhaps Surrogates was inspired by Matrix after Matrix was inspired by Avatar source material.
But I usually like seeing more of Radha Mitchell (except that Denzel work - Burning Man??)

Actually, Matrix was inspired in part by a Chinese movie called Hot War (Virtual training and such).

Anyway, surrogates was cool.

Hahahaha. You mean Man On Fire for the Denzel flick. Of course you could have been joking.
Radha Mitchell was underused in that film but then it was never about her, it was a . I like the film but it wou

I might have to give Surrogates a go if you say it's on a par with I Robot, Chris.
But better than Twelve Monkeys? That's gonna take some movie as I consider Twelve Monkeys to be Willis's best work (although Die Hard 1+2 are my faves).

Okay, NOT better than Twelve Monkeys, I was being a bit too enthusiastic there- personal momentary bias. At 89 minutes it's a tad short, seems like an extended Outer Limits ep, but in colour.

Yeah... I liked Surrogates and all.... but it was no 12 Monkees my man.
