The official Firefly website has a Firefly poster available for download in Adobe Acrobat PDF format.

According to the annoucement on the website, the poster will be making the rounds at various sci-fi and comic book conventions this summer.

Did you notice that the firefly looks nothing like a firefly? Sorry, but looks like a fruit fly with a glorified butt.

Good God, how long did it take you to dig up this thread? I don't have the poster, but I think the bug they're talking about is the same image you see in the upper left hand corner of every page of fff.net.

LOL, yeah, it is a pretty old old thread! It wasn't too difficult to find though. I just went through the list I found here, starting at the bottom with the first posts: http://www.fireflyfans.net/newslist.asp

There was lots of great stuff available, but sadly it's all gone now.

I never thought of doing that. It was really funny to read some of the earliest news posts from this sight and some of the erroneous information being circulated rumor-style pre-series (such as Jayne only appearing in seven episodes). Too bad the link to Joss's post doesn't work anymore.
