Hey ya'll, been giving a chance to try something new with the fun that is a Virtual Shindig...

Mainly, Alliance it up a bit.

For those of you've what joined us all at one of these (Tuesdays, 5 EST. I believe (and there was some talk about setting up alternate days for those who can't quite make that time) you know that the better part of the start of these are spent haggling over which episode(s) to watch.

Well guess what, now we don't have to waste precious Firefly watching time with that cause here's your chance to vote, right now, and if this works each and every week between Shindigs, on that very matter.

So, vote already. Which Episode would you like to see next week and if you want to see more then one, what are they (and preference of order if you're that picky

I had no idea this was a weekly event, otherwise I'd be there. And for those who don't know yet, I've changed my nick on AIM from aywyn to Chronos FFF, to fit more with the one I'm using here, so update your buddy lists please and I'll see you on tuesday.

Seeing as it's almost tuesday thought i'd give this a bit of a bump ( and shocked i am that no-one else has ) As well as tell those of you that are interested in attending tomorrow how to go about doing such.

Load up your aim ( AOL Instant Messenger, should be able to find it round about www.aim.com for those as don't have it and if you don't instructions for setting it up are all there )

Go to People>Chat ( on the mac, should be similar on the PC ) and in the window that posp up put your aim name in the 'invite' field and put Firefly in the name of the room to invite to.

After that it's just a matter of settling in and having fun :biggrin; Hope to see you there.

Whedonesque, and anyone else in a similar bind, feel free to suggest other dates and/or times. This fan base is world wide so we should try to accommodate people in all time zones. At this point i think it might be a bit late to change this week's time, but we could start planning for next week.

Hi, all. I'm a 2 month newbie on this board and to Firefly and would love to join a virtual shindig. Mind you, I've been watching Firefly almost every day for the past two months... and yes, I'm single, work too hard, and have an inclination for getting obsessed, so hence, the new FF obsession. But it's a good obsession to have, gorramit!

It looks like Jaynestown's the choice, which is totally fine by me. (I just watched it two nights ago while drinking wine. Wouldn't mind a repeat. Of both!) I haven't watched War Stories lately though.

It looks like I will be without disc 2 tomorrow, so I may have to bow out of the Shindig - I've made a new convert (yay me! That makes 7!!) and he's borrowing my DVDs one at a time. I just gave him 2 this morning, and should get one back sometime today.

Anyway, if we do settle for something off disc 2, I'll still stop in and say hi!

It was very good. It was a TRIP synchronizing across the globe! And I have the headache to prove it (uh, I had wine, my sub for mudder's milk). We did watch Jaynestown and War Stories (with commentary, *mmmm, commentary...*). I think I'm a lil' too talkative. But it was FUN!
