Hi Livewire!

Since you've got all the parts covered, I'll throw in an offer to help cover any last-minute emergencies that may/will come up. I'm not a pro but I used to read listener e-mails and occasional articles on the Firefly Talk podcast, while it was still running. Let me know how I can help.

Are there any crew members you happen to make a close match for? My cousin and his friend are covering a crazy number of parts, and while they insist they can handle it, I'd like to lighten their load if I can.

So my Mal decided to back out on me. Meaning that I now have every single character covered *except* the one who's in nearly every scene.

...Anyone do a good Mal?

No, no. You're working this deal all crabbed.

You got to open with payment.

A shortwave regenerative receiver would sound good for simulating Cortex broadwave, tuned/modified to CB freq of 27MHz, as heard in the opening scene above. Give a variable change in audio freq response for vox and morse.

I've got a Ten Tec T1253 shortwave receiver kit, which I didn't screw up too bad. Max 22MHz stock.

Anybody know of free computer software that can simulate this effect on audio files? I.e. BFO beat frequency oscillator.

Sweet, looking forward to it. I should be fine - my cousin recruited someone for Mal. I will let you know, though.
