July 10th is International Firefly Meetup Day! Check it out at http://firefly.meetup.com.

If you want to attend a local meetup near you, please register on the site and make sure to RSVP. *coughBOSTONcough* Meetups do get cancelled if less than 5 people sign up.

I did, but not enough people responded for the Phoenix area Meetups.com "cancelled" the meeting due to lack of interest.

since there were only 3 of us--I decided not to go--kinda shy-I was hoping for at least 25 so I could go and kinda observe before making my self known

maybe the next meet up--

It's looking like the San Diego meetup will be cancelled as well, but I plan on going anyway. So if there are any other San Diegans here who aren't willing to sign up at meetup.com (I was reluctant), it's at:

Elijah's Delicatessen, 8861 Villa La Jolla Dr, La Jolla, CA
on Saturday, July 10 @ 2:00PM

But...but...if no one signs up because not enough people are signing up, we'll never get enough people!

I understand though. I was weirded out by the idea of meeting these FF nutcases IRL, but I'm so glad I did. The bite marks are even healing.

Maybe you'll change your mind for the next one. We're also brainstorming a mini-shindig during WorldCon.

Only two people listed for St. Louis, including me. Damn, I need to get busy converting the masses

um...how come there is no time for the meet-up, but a location? (for sacramento)
I'm just a newbie, but I'd like to go... (but I got plans to work around)
