Funny, I think I've seen both of those, but many, many years ago. You're right. There's a boatload of great dvd viewing out there. Heck, I can watch "Casablanca" 50 times in a row and not get tired of it.

Now that my cable is off, ironically, the only broadcast channel that I pick up very well is FOX. So DVD rentals are definitely the way to go. I just rented "Master and Commander" today and enjoyed it a lot. Flynn did the ship captain role better, but it was still a very entertaining movie.

Apathy on the Rise. No One Cares.

Can't make myself care about the large amounts of garbage on TV. Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, Monk, Fox News, Touching Evil isn't bad... Some Discovery and History stuff is ok... Bravo has a few things on worth watching. B&N had a great sale on DVD's... buy two get one free last month. I've a ton of new stuff to watch (and a new set of Firefly DVD's).

Got a great miniseries on DVD called Neverwhere from the novel of the same name by Neil Gaiman. You guys might enjoy it... if you haven't already seen it. Check out Croup and Vandenmar. Very nifty bad guys!
