You're very welcome - I figure that and Last Exile will do ya for a while, but I shall keep my eye out for anything that might strike your tastes.
Starship Operators came to mind, but the premise kinda sucks and worse, it's boring!
Maybe good for a rental, but just doesn't cut it.

I *just* finished Planetes...
One of the most pleasantly engrossing series experiences I've ever had, thanks to everyone who recommended it! It's my second favourite anime ever, just behind Nausica.
So sad it's over...
