The gestural interface that looked so shiny in Minority Report has turned up everywhere since then, and now it's cheap enough that it's in the FBI's war room, on Castle. Allowing Nathan Fillion to have too much fun bursting windows.

Watch Nathan in action after the jump.

It was so cool in the show when Castle was playing with the board. I hope they let Nathan play with the board a while and we get to see what happened on a DVD extra.

Nathan Fillion's Castle episodes Mondays 10/9central ABC! Replays Saturdays!

Ah, yes. It is with an almost childlike excitement that he rushes past Becket towards the kid with the new toy.
Hm...but the cliffhanger at the end really left me...hanging. I can't wait for the next episode.

I liked watching Castle play with the interface, but part of what drew me into the show is how the characters use their brains more than technology in their detective-work. (Don't get me wrong, I still love to watch Bones from time to time.)

Well, it was past time for a 'futureistic type toy' in my opinion. I do like it, but it could get old if used too much....I can see him lookig for a "7 layer bean dip receipe" at some point.(inside joke)

This was an excellent episode in so many ways - it didn't feel like a single hour spread over two, the editing was spot on, and the story captivating.

And about the interface? I've mentioned it to friends, but I thought I'd just say ... fancy gadgets is no guarantee of being able to spell. Check out the ep again and take a look at the artist's impression of the perp on the interface ... and how they've spelled 'caucasian' underneath ...

True that!

And speaking of Nathan having fun,

" I was aiming for his head ! "

Tell me he wasn't thinking of our favorite hired gun when that line was put in!!

Ha!

I loved the look the tech gave Castle when he spun the image.

Then Nathan got to do a "3rd grader, busted. And will do it again the minute your back is turned." reaction.

Y' all do realize Mrs. Dana Delaney played the Captain's wife on Desperate Housewives, right?
Love the irony factor, but I gotta give hubby credit, he figured it out before I did!
