I feel bad for you, I had that problem on and off for about a year and it was very un-fun. The welded shut eyes from goo and crusts is not something anybody should have to get used to.

Well yeah, having your insides chopped into is certainly gonna be worse. It's not so much a pain thing as it is just annoying. It's like a twitchy eyelid. Sometimes I get them for weeks at a time. painful? not at all, but it drives me insane.
