As long as you don't name the kid Badger, I'm sure he'll be fine;) But ya, Jayne would probably be a better middle name lol. And congradulations!

Congrats!! That's awesome to want to name him Jayne! I've heard some pretty odd names that came from tv shows (one of my good friends went to school with a kid named SodaPop) I like the idea of Jousha Malcom too.

Congratulations!!
i say name him jayne if you want to. and teach him how to stand up for his name when the time comes. everyone is right, kids can be cruel so chances are no matter what you name him you'll have some issue to cover.
i let everyone talk me out of the name i wanted for my daughter, jamie janay. so i ended up naming her jessica which ended up being the most popular girls name that year. there were issues. every reference to jessica in school was followed by a last name coz there were so many.
but when i tell her how i came up with jessica (because soap was a popular tv show and i loved the flaky character jessica) she thinks that's pretty funny.
i think kids think it's cool when their name is a little different.

I named my kids (girl and boy) after Han Solo and Princess Leias twins Jaina and Jacen. They shouldnt cop too much flak I hope..
And yes, the force is strong in them.

'Course, that might mean your daughter will eventually turn to the Dark Side. . .

Well, JCKnife, so far I count two votes for "Joshua Malcom." I guess we have a name! You gonna post a copy of the birth certificate???
