Hey that's interesting. I'd never considered them like that. Hmmm.
I've only ever seen the Search for Spock once when it came out in the cinema. I didn't really like it that much. But I was a kid and I was maybe expecting a little more action. Maybe I should re-watch it. Who directed that one, was it Nimoy?

Do you find the Trek films re-watchable? Given a rainy day I'd gladly watch The Movie and Kahn and JJ's, but the others... I dunno they sort of say their thing and vanish somehow... ? As for the Next generation films... Pah!

Yes, Leonard made that one, a sort of shakedown on the way to his crowning effort, The Voyage Home.

I watch Trek over & over (not so much V though). But the series is topps, & the movies are cool.
