HUGS and do you need an airlift??

Or you could just move to Salt Lake City where it looks like that for about 3 months of the year. I can promise you do get used to it..

Now get out there and build a snow Serenity:)

A lovely time was had by all here in Vermont on Wednesday...

My drive home from work.

What the back of my car looked like in the carport. 15 inches at this point and we got another 6 or so before it switched to rain.

Thank god for my new company truck

Without the four wheel drive, I wouldn't have been able to get to work or get back home. My old truck was a two wheel drive and would get stuck in the blink of an eye. The shot of my truck shows what we had for snow before the storm too.

Pretty cunning indeed. The comedian badge is a nice addition. I think mine is still on the kilt.

Looks that way in Kentucky right now, too. Which is why I thank God I'm in Texas! We had a little spit of snow Saturday night, but nothing stuck.

Today, it's back to springtime. The grass is green, the sky is blue, the sun is out. Supposed to be in the 70's by next week. Might rain, but no freezing.

Can't complain here.

This was our *first* storm of the year. Usually we've had at least five or six like this by now!

(Winter starts any time after or around Halloween and can extend into early May.)

It ain't over yet.

MsA- we learn our ABCs a little differently here, it's winter survival training:
Alcohol, Bakedgoods, Cocoa have them for a storm, Duofolds, Electicity all gone, Frozen food on the back porch, Gaiters for the snow, Homebound, Ice dam, Jumper cables, Kindling, Leave-the-damned-door-closed, Mangoes don't grow here, Nature is a bitch, Oatmeal, Pot of coffee, Quart of soup, Roof rake, Snowblower, Turn-down-the-heat-do-you-think-we're-made-of-money, Utility truck, Vehicle in a ditch, Woodstove, X-ray skiing injuries, Yak-trax, Zipper up your coat.
