I can definitely see her as one of the crew. Pre-BDM, some other stray Mal winds up adopting into his crew, co-pilot or tech specialist perhaps. Post-BDM, the new pilot of Serenity. She could play it easily as a geeky, awkward character, funny but not in a Wash 2.0 kind of way.

Don't see her as a Jayne love interest. To quote someone on this board Jayne really doesn't have love interests, he has sex interests. If anything I never saw Simon and Kaylee being a forever thing and her character could be paired with either of them. Simon's got that handsome respectful bookworm thing going for him, and Kaylee's definitely bi-curious (if not more as we don't know her full escapades on her home world). So whatever type she fancies, I could see her more with either of them instead of Big Jayne Cobb.

Ash

Would have been better if I could have gotten closer.

And she is tiny.

Got to say I've always had a thing for women who can use a firearm, but a woman that can wield a lightsaber.......

Yep, that gets me too.

I don't know if I could picture that. Isn't Jayne huge compared to her? I'd just constantly be worried that he's going to crush her to death.

Ummmm... Y'know, I'm 6'8", 260 lbs, and I've never crushed anybody. We big guys have our ways of making sure things work out. ;)

When you're building, you tend to put the larger heavier materials down first, then the lighter ones above that.

'Nuff said?

(Oh, I can hear the people heading off to their bunks on that image.....)
