Actually most people around here do have to be mean.
Its part of their ideological makeup.
They don't see it as being mean because to them Cheney is not a real person deserving of compassion. He is the hated opposition, less then human and therefore anything is acceptable.
I reserve my real hatred for the likes of Bin Ladden and much as I hate Bin Ladden and would like to see him suffer, were his fate in my hands I would give him the reasonable care and good treatment required of us by both the Constitution and our basic humanity.
I suspect were Cheney in the hands of the people of this board...he would not be as well taken care of because in the crazytalker mindset, basic humanity does not apply and the Constitution is for people they agree with or like.
That said making a little fun of someone is natural and normal...its the genuine feelings of hate and wishes for misfortune that are inappropriate.
