I've just beat me second playthrough of the game, and thoroughly enjoyed it.
But besides the entertaining gameplay and story, I also enjoyed the wealth of Firefly references in the game.
-the pilot, Joker, talks about wanting to pull a crazy ivan
-a mercenary group is called the Blue Suns
-the downloadable character, Zaeed, seems to be a huge Jayne reference. He even named his gun.
There's more than what I posted here, but it was great to hear the shout out in the game.
Also the game had an excellent voice cast, which included Adam Baldwin. Though he wasn't necessarily playing a Jayne character, it was good to hear his voice in the sci-fi realm again.
Tricia Helfer, Carrie-Anne Moss, Michael Hogan, Michael Dorn, Martin Sheen, Yvonne Strahovski, and Seth Green also voiced characters, making the game feel like one giant movie instead of a video game.
Anyone else out there play it? Thoughts?

That's cool -- recognizable voice actors add a neat dimension to the game. What character does Yvonne S. play? I haven't played the second Mass Effect yet. Speaking of Tricia Helfer, I just saw her in the season 2 Chuck episode -- great cameo!

Yvonne is the face and the voice of Miranda, your second command, and is one of the romantic possibilities for your character (if you're playing as a male). Definitely an interesting character.

A "crazy Ivan" wasn't invented for Firefly.
"I thoroughly disapprove of duels. If a man should challenge me, I would take him kindly and forgivingly by the hand and lead him to a quiet place and kill him."

yeah, but in the context of the game, they're pretty clear about referencing Firefly in the scene. It's sort of hard to describe, but its there.
