...? Um. Some kinda... Valentine poll? I get the why, I'm just not seeing the point...

Shame the Firefly characters probably won't win this one. Firefly does have some good romance, but by and large those interested in romance aren't going to be watching Firefly. I predict we're going to lose this one.

Jayne/River has a lot of fandom support despite many opposing it. I guess this list doesn't follow canon...just what fans like.

Yeah, I know, and I'm okay with that, whatever keeps people's boats in the air. But, looking and Jayne/River, and even Mal/Inara, and what we are given in the series... Compare them to other great love stories. What heart melting moments of awww do we have? Sure, we have sparks between them sometimes, when they're not trying to kill each other, but can you really call that a couple?

And keep in mind, I ship Mal/Inara like I've never shipped anything before. Literally, I was never a shipper before them. But even *I* can't say Mal and Inara are a couple. Jayne and River are even more ambiguous.
