Superior numbers.

At the moment Firefly's 4 votes behind Futurama, 247 behind Farscape, and 612 behind Angel.

This poll doesn't mean much since it's probably cookie based, which means somebot could flood it.

The IMDb poll at http://www.imdb.com/poll/results/2004-06-23 is user based, which makes it a little less "Diebold"ish.

I'd sure like to see Sports Night back on the air as well. But since one of the stars is working elsewhere, I'd say it's not going to happen.

Funny, I have the second pair of DVDs in my briefcase as I type. Over lunch, if I finish my book, I crank up a DVD, and Sports Night is my current series.

I agree that Sports Night is a great show, but it did get two full seasons, and most of those others got at least that much air time as well, and of course Angel got five years and Farscape four.

Firefly, Freeks and Geeks & The Tick are the ones that were yanked the quickest. Of course you can say I'm not being very objective about it, but IMO Firefly is the one on the list that had the most potential to be classic but wasn't given a chance.

Also, I just voted for it a second time, so there's no reason we can't get its numbers up much higher.
