That seems completely out of character - you seem to be one of the first to winge over other people's behavior.

As to the original post, it's horrendous and I've long been furious with our unquestioning backing of Israel, and how I believe it has encouraged them to do things they otherwise wouldn't, given their desire for our continued financial backing.
But I don't think they learned it from the Nazis, that's a leap I'm not clear on. Every war has included horrors of one kind or another, the Nazis weren't the first, the Israelis won't be the last (nor will WE, and some of the methods we've used could be said to have been derived from the Nazis as much or more than what you point out).
As to the righteousness you protest, I think there are a number of people here who have more right to it than you, Wulf; you've been pretty narrow-minded and judgmental about others' rights, even right to exist, quite frequently.

I think if you were ever to find some consistency in your stated belief of everyone's right to exist, that would have some chance of believability. But suddenly saying such things after a long, long time of advocating violence and attacking those who think differently than you completely negates what you're saying.
You said Mike was wrong in judging a paradox between your idea of a perfect world and the way you behave, yet you didn't explain HOW he was wrong, since all we can know of you here is what you post, which is diametrically opposed to what you claim here.
Can you tell us exactly what it IS you are "trying to do"? I haven't seen anything that would lead me to believe you're trying to do the things you've cited in this thread, more I have seen you attack people, post that violence is the answer to most things, and put up videos of fantasy heroes. Clarification would be nice, tho' consistency (if you actually believe the things you're saying in this post) would be even better.

It isn't like the US gov is unaware, hell read the US State departments most recent report on Human Rights and Religious Freedom in Israel...

Obama should simply announce due to biased previous policy, there is no way the United States can act as a broker of peace in that conflict... but in order to promote the process
1. All aid, loans, etc are suspended until a reasonable solution is implemented
2. All Military Aid and Personnel are withdrawn
3. US consular personnel are withdrawn, embassy's are closed until a reasonable solution is implemented
4. All Israeli diplomats, lobbyists, military and intelligence types are to return to Israel until a reasonable solution is implemented.
5. All economic ties are severed, Israeli airlines lose US landing rights, imports and exports are canceled until a reasonable solution is implemented
The EU and others may follow suit, that is their concern.
I wonder how long it would take before concessions began to appear ?

Probably because we're all on the same page on this story - torching civilians = bad. So, with nothing else to discuss, folks seized upon your dubious "perfect world" statement (which, as pointed out, flies in the face of damned near everything you've ever said).

Gino, while we're at it, can we also refuse to allow U.S. lawmakers to accept bribes - er, I mean DONATIONS - from lobbying firms with ties to the Israeli government?
I mean, those will dry up pretty quickly once we cut off all OUR money that we send THERE, just so that they can turn around and send it back HERE in an effort to get us to send them MORE.
But yeah, stop sending money - AND military aid (like White Phosphorous artillery rounds, for instance) - there AND stop accepting money FROM there, and we might be able to actually have a civil conversation between Israel and the Palestinians.
And y'know, this whole idea that it might be okay to use WP to figure out where to aim other artillery rounds is pretty much bullshit anway. "Okay, fellas - see where that Willy Pete just hit? Well, just concentrate the rest of your phosphorous rounds on that building and those burning people there, and everything will be over in a few minutes!" Sheesh...
