Maybe you can clarify on who's the teacher, who's the student, and what the lesson is supposed to be.

Its as I've said many times... Israel learned from the Nazis, on how to propagandize and how to deal with "undesirables".
The cycle is continuing.
Before you start... NO, its NOT ok to drop white phosphorus on a population.
Nor do I agree that the Palestinians should just learn that they will forever live in their little ghetto.

Guess you're getting a bit defensive there, Wulfie; I actually WASN'T picking a fight on that one, just trying to get you to clarify what you were talking about. And I appreciate the clarification.
You may be shocked to find that I agree with you on this one. I'm pretty sure that no matter who you are, dropping Willie Pete on a civilian center is a no-no.

Agreed. But I don't see 'em getting out of it without some help. Sure, the residents of the Warsaw Ghetto rose up against tyranny, but they were, pretty much to a man, all cut down for the offense of speaking truth to power. It wasn't until they got some serious help (in the form of the allied armies and air forces) that they got themselves out from under the boot. Maybe it's time we start actually HELPING the Palestinians, at least giving them a fighting chance against their oppressors.

Thanks Wulf, my dad has never believed me when I said that Israel deliberately aimed white phosphorus at PEOPLE. He keeps maintaining that Israel has just been using it for aiming artillery fire, which supposedly is a legal use of it.
I've been looking for evidence otherwise, evidence that Israel itself was not forthcoming with.

But what makes you think that's not what anyone else is trying to do here as well? Is Frem not truly the finder of lost children? Are Signy and Rue not truly their brothers' keepers? Aren't any number of us trying to shepherd the weak through the valley of darkness? And haven't I struck down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would poison and destroy my brothers?
So am I your lord? Is Frem? Rue? Signy?
Or are we all just trying our best to be righteous, to lead the flock and be the shepherd, in our own way?

Absolutely. I do believe that Frem, Rue, Sig, you are trying their best to do whats right.
However, it reminds me of something. Loong time ago, I worked with someone who said this to me. (and Im paraphrasing here)
"You know, everyone is looking to make the perfect world. But whats perfect for me, or for you, is not perfect for them."
I just think, and I may be silly for this, that MY perfect world would allow for imperfections. And thereby, allow for all people to exist.

And paradoxically, your perfect world would also allow you the right to blow away those with whom you disagree. So although you agree they have a right to exist, you seem to abrogate to yourself a greater right, the right to DENY them that existence.
Am I wrong on that?
