SIAP -
Decent flick, to be honest. ( Bummed to see that Manndy Patinkin and Laura Harris were missing in their respective rolls, but kudos for getting the rest of the gang. )
There were a couple of issues I had w/ the plot, but as it was late when I saw it, I might have missed some of the finer points, if they were there in the 1st place.
Overall, I liked the movie. I only stumbled across it by accident, and don't recall if there was much chatter about it before. It went straight to DVD, but still, I liked Dead like Me when it was on, and am glad we got to see a bit more of George and the gang.

I saw it a while back when it first came out, it was pretty good. I enjoyed the storyline with George and her sister.
I also missed Daisy's actor, the new girl just wasn't the same. I also missed Rube quite a bit, he was very high on my favorite characters list.

I never fully understood the point of Rube's replacement, who he was suppose to be, represent, or what. I'm wondering if they had hoped Mandy would join the cast, but never signed on, and they had to do a hasty rewrite maybe ? It just seemed rather disjointed.
Aside from the 'crew' coming back, how cool was it to see everyone else return as well ? From George's mom and sister, to her boss, it went rather well.
Now that I think about it, I can't remember if I saw the entire 2nd season or not....did George's boss lady ever find out what George did , on the side ? Seemed like she was in on who George really was.

The way I interpreted it, Rube's replacement was a test to find which member of the group was best suited to actually replace him. I don't think he was ever meant to be the real replacement.
I don't think George's boss ever found out about George being a reaper. I think the only person that knew before the movie was the receptionist, can't remember her name.

I'm not sure where and how Auraptor saw it but someone should have posted yesterday, because the Sci-Fi Channel ran it last night. They will repeat it again on Feb. 14 at 1:00pm EST.

It was on late Sunday night, on SyFy. Stayed up to 1:30AM
HAD I known it was on, I'd have given all a heads up.
