For the record, Glenn Beck was on O'Reilly's show this Friday as he usually is, and they brought it up front and center. There was no attempt at all to hide or whitewash it. They actually chuckled about it in a condescending and disappointed manner. So give Fox a little break on this at least. I know it must hurt them to some degree, because they all clearly like her. They agreed that she had a long way to go to ever become a "pundit.", and this was only her first week on tv as a guest on every show. They said her power will be seen during the Nov. elections. I interpreted that to mean that she is a person who cannot have an adult conversation in a way that goes beyond her using the same old endlessly repeated (yawn) ideological talking points, rationalized and embellished with demented Alaska stories including eating moose eyeballs to help her grow spiritually. It must have taken incredible self-control by her not to say chum bucket all week.
I don't see how Fox News can parade her out again next week on their news or opinion shows again. There was discussion of her getting her own show. That I could see. I imagine it would be a new form of media; a cross-breed of Hillbilly Huckabee (with new cee-ment pond and critters), Rogue Romper Room (complete with sparkly magic mirror and skinning knives), and Whacky version of Who's Smarter Than A Yeti Embryo? Occasionally Todd will come out and give his opinions on a variety of issues including snowmobile clutch oil, best seasonings to eliminate that gamey taste in squirrel, and world politics. Then all the kids will come out, join hands in prayer, then let go, and run away screaming. I, for one cannot wait to see this show.
