I've seen The Plan, and it doesn't do a very good job of ret-conning the mess that Season Four became. It really shows that even if the Cylons did have a plan they didn't really understand it and/or changed their minds about it too many times.

As for you signature line, it's a misquote. It should read "bullet in the brain-pan. Squish!"

Yup. Saw that tonight.

But a brain bucket is a helmet...

Once the Cylons invented cylon humans, they became human. Epic fail.

BSG does show how easily a nation can be infiltrated and sabotaged. Just like USA today. Damn Reptilians!

I own Serenity, but watched it anyway (more on this in a moment).

Had never seen The Plan until the other night, and what a waste... I didn't need to know that Cavil knew who the "Final Five" were, and then stocked them. I didn't need Simon to be on the Cybelle (sp?) or imbedded in the Caprician Resistance. I didn't need six dressed up like a whore, sleeping with Cavil.. The revel that Tory survived the blast was a was of film, and I didn't care. The look into Leoben served no purpose, nor did the extra scenes with Doral. The fact that the "Shelley Godfrey" Six went out an air-lock is no big surprise, and what I always assumed anyway... Worse yet, I liked the John Cavil that was onboard Galatica in the back half of the second season. I really got to like him after his talk (introduction ?) with Tyrol.. I didn't like him in this movie/whatever.

Pretty much watching this was a waste, and my time was better spent watching Serenity for the ump-teenth time (even with commercials)...

Having said all that, here are the parts I did like... and there aren't many.

I liked when Doral commented that the other version wore Burgundy, and he thought the difference mattered... "This is Teal"

I liked when Cavil stabbed the little kid.. Didn't think they would go there.

I linked when Cavil made some comment about God (or maybe Starbuck) plucking kittens (?) out of their ass.. or something like that.. He made it to Leoben, in reference to something about being plucked from the stream.

End of list... Not worth the 2 or 3 hours of my time.

Realize I liked BSG.. So for me not to like this actually says something.

Although my biggest problem with the show was always.. We need a special method to tell unknown cylon from human, but their spines glow, they can shove a fiberoptic cable in their arm and talk to the ships computer, and they can send IFFs via their eyes to metal cylons but not skin jobs... Really, that doesn't show up on a scan somehow..

Caz

Well, being that it was never intended to retcon anything, that's hardly shocking.

But it is a waste of a "movie".
