Hey all!
Not much going on over here... I'm on summer vacation and won't have to go back to school until the end of September. A friend of mine is coming to visit me from Holland for a month and I'm very excited cuz I haven't seen her for 2 years. I won't be on the computer as much while she's here but I think I'll still have time to post every day.
Other than that, I'll fill my free time with writing, RPing, painting miniatures and computer games. Yeah, I'll have it pretty rough for the next few months
I'm not broken, in my dream I win...

Hmmmm....
Workwise...well, it's summer break for the boys, so it's summer break for me, too! I've got a couple of weeks downtime before marching band camp starts, then it's back to gettin' up early. We have one boy who's going to be a senior this year (and volunteered to MARCH with a Baritone Saxophone), then another who's going to be a freshman, playing in the drumline.
Familywise...hubby and the oldest boy are both in a family theatre production of "Fiddler On The Roof" at the end of July. This means (currently) 4 nights of practice a week. I find myself alone a lot. LOL. In addition, the boy works at Cinnabon in the mall. The younger boy (mine) spends most of the summer with his dad, so I won't see him a lot until camp starts.
Basically, I'm reading a lot and lazing around a lot, gearing up for the fall when things'll get really crazy. Oh, and working on our business part-time. Sooo...that's what's up with me!

We're getting him a new strap this summer. It goes around both shoulders, rather than the neck. MUCH more comfortable!

So Boomer - got time for some girl-talk with Rowan? I realized recently they haven't had much interaction since... well, before Rowan got smacked around by Niska.
Ideas?

Well, Kaylee is moving on towards the engine room. She's trying to figure out what to do about Simon, so she's preoccupied. Maybe we can work something out later, when Rowan goes back to playing pool (as I'm sure she will
)

Hello all,
Minor change. It has been decided, and this has been bandied about before now, that due to a certain amount of language drift, Mercedes as a word has a different pronunciation in this time than it used to.
I had considered from the beginning having the actual pronuncation being Merzedes and debating whether to spell it that way. And I have decided I like it.
So while I am in no way going back and editing anything, from now forward the long form will also be spelled with a Z.
What fun. And love the posts today!
