What's your fave 'nice story' film?

By 'nice story' I mean a film that just tells a story, it doesn't particularly have to go anywhere but just shows you a piece of life involving the characters. It may have comedy elements, tragedy, drama or any other the other themes out there, but doesn't necessarily fit into any of these genres.
Plus it needs to leave you with that warm, contented, slighty happier feeling by the time the movie is over.
My list will probably illustrate the type of film I'm talking about. I seem to be watching this type of movie recently so I thought I'd see what others liked. In no order as it just the ones I've re-watched:
1. Field Of Dreams
2. Forrest Gump (love the way he passes through life unaware of what's really going on around him)
3. The Green Mile
4. Lawn Dogs (Sam Rockwell shows why he's a great actor)
5. The Ice Storm (okay not so much with the happy ending)
6. Garden State
7. Bridge To Terabithia
8. The Station Agent
9. Juno

I don't have many of that type on my dvd shelf, but I do have and I concur on Field of Dreams. Great film.

The Unbearable Lightness of Being (I know there are a lot of downer moments in it but it basically is about friendship, loyalty and love)

I'm a big fan of the "nice story" movie, but I'm kinda demanding--can't stand It's a Wonderful Life, f'rinstance, not so much because it's too "nice" or anything, but because I find George Bailey morally repugnant.
Anyhoo, my personal "nice story" movies are more along the lines of the following (I gotta million of 'em!):
Happy-Go-Lucky
Stardust
Amelie
The Girl in the Cafe
Next Stop Wonderland
Rushmore (love that movie!)
Dan in Real Life
I Heart Huckabees
Little Miss Sunshine
Once Around
The Object of My Affection
WALL-E (the most delightful dystopia movie you will ever love!)
Bad Santa(!)
And the following movies are rather something more than "nice stories," something more epic than nice, but they sure leave me with that "nice story" feelin':
Spirited Away
Princess Mononoke
Singin' in the Rain
The Big Lobowski(!)

Why does In Bruges leave me with a "nice story" feeling? It's not particularly happy, but it's somehow uplifting...

The Station Agent is a lovely little film, but not a "must see again".
