Thanks so much for taking the time to keep all of us fans in the loop as to what is happening on the set. It truly means a lot to us and ,personally, makes my day. Most actors would never take that kind of time. It was great hearing from you again. Have fun being back in the engine room!

From one Jewel to another -- thanks so much for posting! Like pretty much every one else here, I can't wait for the BDM. Every time I read something from one of the cast members I just get more and more excited that Serenity is coming back.

Thanks so much for checking in with all of your adoring fans! It's really such an honor to hear from y'all, since your schedules have to be busier than busy. Keep us posted on the DragonCon thing; my husband and I were thinking of going, and that may just turn a "maybe" into a "definite"!

Other than that, I'm just so looking forward to seeing all the BDH on the big screen. The thought of it gives me goosebumps, and I'm sure there will be tears in my eyes on the day. And I'll be the one in the audience crossing my fingers that Kaylee and Simon finally get to kiss!

dang! how generous of you to touch base with the fans.
yeah, living mere minutes away from the studio that you're working out of is great bliss. espeically when you have a crack-o'-dawn call.
working as an extra isn't glamourous in the least (take a book or two, take your knitting, take a little radio...and if you're going to be outside, take your sunscreen and a little parasol/umbrella if you have one! and take a bottle of water 'cause if you're an extra...) but if you're working on a show you love, it can't be all bad just to be a part of it.
i salute you Browncoats that got bg work.
if i was still living in l.a., i'd've been all over it, too!

Jewel, you rock! I always feel so incredibly lucky to be involved in a fandom where, not only are all the fans some of the nicest people I've met (and I drove all the way down to Jersey to meet 'em), but you guys on the cast go out of your way to talk to us and tell us crazy browncoats what's going on. It's amazing! This is more than just a fandom, it's a great big family (a Jerry Springer family maybe, but a family nonetheless )

And forget just being an extra, if more movies get made, you can tell Joss he can expect my resume in the mail.
