April 23, 2003, Member 2632.

I signed up about five minutes after watching a preview daily someone put up of the confrontation in the bar from The Train Job.

I went diggin for a fansite right off and found this one, mostly lurked a while, occasionally throwing a philosphical grenade here and there.

Place grew on me, what can I say ?

I also got lucky and saw one of the ultra-rare promo spots for it on someone elses TV and it hooked my attention instantly, which is what drew me to the preview daily in the first place.

The old timer list would look something like this

SignyM
GinoBiffaroni
Furyfire
Shuggie
Malcolm
Moose
Mojoeca
Haken
Novagrass
Pandora
Kaythryn
Talrius
Succatash
WildHeavenFarm
Channain

That's when firefly was on air,
nobody wanted to invade Iraq and this website discussed Andromeda, Dead Zone, the cancelation of Farscape and 'Mal said what in Chinese?'
Until we got a few Mandarin sepakers to log on
About 50% of the names I mentioned no longer post on FFF.net anymore
The creator of this thread hasn't logged on since March 2007

I consumed the DVDs in a week and then had this site recommended to me. Scary to think that it was only three months after joining that I saw the movie (albeit the rough cut).

Is this the part where everybody whips out their "rainsticks" for a good measuring contest?
