Two Brothers Commercials giving me anxiety

For about a week I've been feeling a bit of anxiety when a commercial for the movie Two Brothers is on. Why? Because it starts with the Universal logo and I keep thinking, "This may be a commercial for Serenity".

I know, I know. Way too early for that. But a Browncoat can hope, right?

Anyone else have the same thought when seeing the Universal logo for a commercial or trailer?

I don't get anxious whenever I see the universal logo ... but I do whenever I see anything about star wars episode 3. They are already advertising on entertainment shows like extra ( although I can't remember if it was specifically extra that it was on ) I am sick of the new star wars and it makes me anxious that serenity and episode 3 are being released in the same year.

I am happy whenever I see the universal logo. I am happy that they gave firefly and Joss Whedon a chance and I can't wait until the time when I tune into extra and I see something about serenity. Here's to hoping that comes sooner then later.

I wouldn't be surprised if Universal did that when they showed their logo at the beginning of ads for Serenity and then the actual movie. They're awesome peoples, and they do sometimes change the logo to fit with the movie.

I'm glad Universal picked up the movie...I trust them...though, I'm kind of biased. The Back to the Future movies and MST3k? Hell yeah, rock on Universal. ^_^

When I was 6 or 7, I would go CRAZY when I'd be watching TV, and the 20th Century Fox logo would come up, with the drums and the lights and all that. "This is 'Star Wars!!!!!!'" thought my youthful brain, which did not yet grasp the concept of 'TV Guide.'

Universal will be the same for me for a time, admittedly... but look at it this way. They started shooting 3 weeks ago; it'll be MONTHS before they even have any footage to make a trailer out of. So I'd say we can pretty much put it out of our minds, until... hell, I'm gonna go with November, at the earliest.

Oscar push in the fall, you know. But we'll keep our fingers crossed.

Oh, and maybe not see "Two Brothers," cuz they caused you all that anxiety. ;)

I had that exact same experience. I thought that the whole "A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away..." thing was always coming up next.

Of course, to this day, every time I hear the Tri-Star Pictures intro, I think of "The Natural".

Everytime I see the Universal logo, I remember an MST3K quote.
