I don't see this place dieing anytime soon, it provides too much that the new OB dosn't (ie Filks, pics, etc.).

I am very much for gun control. We have it here in the Great White North and things are still all well and good with the world.

That being said, I have no problem (nor anyone I have talked to) with people that carry firearms as related to there work. If you expect to be put in a dangerous situation during work then it *is* irresponsible *not* carry a firearm.

I am for gun control because these instances basically requiring the carrying of firearms is quite rare (though probably more common than I think, it'll still be too rare to not have gun control, IMHO). So, then rules should be set up to license people who need them.

I have never met someone who thinks that *no-one* should carry guns. I believe this to be society dependent. Here in North America we have bad guys that carry heavy weaponry, so, we need our cops to carry sufficient fire power to combat these people. The British are luck that they don't need there cops to carry.

When it comes to hunting, I believe that using firearms is unfair. I'm for using the bow and arrow. But, then again, opinions will differ.

Guns aren't dangerous!!! What kind of crazy talk is that? Dangerous.

Stupid, wussy Liberals... Yall will be the first to go. Those of us armed to the teeth? Not so much.

My favorite so far is a Jackhammer (shotgun) mounted with a titanium bayonet.

That way, if they get to close to stab, you can always pull the trigger.

Howdy JCKNIFE, new Browncoats are always welcome around these here parts. The natives are generally "plenty civilized", even regardin' some topics that might ruffle a few tail feathers now and then. Be sure to come visit a spell whenever ya get the urge and don't forget to bring some friends. We lost the last one due to "superior numbers", but it looks like we've got 'em licked this time around.
