No real point to this post, except to express my love for this 'verse.
Is it weird that I can't watch Serenity without watching the series first? I think it's the fact that it is a complete story, and needs to be viewed as such.
I love the fact that this forum is here, so us browncoats have a place to share the love.
Jayne: [into radio] Testing. Captain, can you hear me?
Mal: I'm standing right here.
Jayne: [into radio] You're coming in good and loud, too.
Mal: 'Cause I'm standing right here.

Quote:Not weird in the least. That's how I watch most series- first to last.

Except Buffy, for some reason I can watch any ep I want from the first five seasons, until I hit the first episode of season six, where I must begin watching straight to the end from that point.

My Firefly watch count is well over twenty by now, and every time I watch every episode in order, then I watch the bonus materials, then Serenity.

Actually, when I watch the series, I have to end it with Serenity, but other times, I *do* watch Serenity out of nowhere on impulse.
So, series watched about 15 times; Serenity about 35.
