Well I got to watch Objects in Space today after I pulled some Met Ops in my AO. I have to say, we had actually forgot what day it was (screw sense of time). I'm very glad we found a huge 155 daisychained IED (maybe not very glad) so that we had to call Naval EOD to pick it up. That way I got introduced to this awesome show and got to watch this on Halloween! I'd say this was a near hitchcockian classic of suspense and creepiness. The humor also helped a lot and it was good to see a non-stereotyped villain for once. Man that *near* rape seen was so freakin' well done, Law & Order SVU looks like a high school play compared to that. Doubtless it was better than the SAW XVII crap the reservist POG's were watching.

So what do people think? Was Objects in Space scary? Not scary? Good or a rushed and off-kilter attempt to darken the mood of a doomed series?

I would call it a good ep. If you get a chance to see Joss' commentary on the bonus material track I recommend it.

It was supposed to be a little (OK, a lot) creepy.
