Been too long since I saw S3 to recall properly but if it's the one I'm thinking of then I liked Elaan Of Troyus. I haven't got there yet on my remastered DVD watching so I'll reserve final judgement till then.
The Enterprise Incident, Turnabout Intruder and Spectre Of The Gun were also great episodes that I do remember well.

I never touched her tears, so not the big love you might expect. France was a spicy-hot space mama with mega-attitude for sure though, and the episode gets kudos for her excellent performance.
