A lot of peeps I've talked to seem to think it was "The Enterprise Incident", but I find myself leaning more towards "Elaan Of Troyus."

I've always been partial to "Is There In Truth No Beauty?" and "All Our Yesterdays."

Anyone listing "Spock's Brain" or "Turnabout Intruder" will automatically be banned.

I *just now* watched "Turnabout Intruder" and I say with conviction that it's a good episode. And "Way To Eden" is a fun one.

Season 3? I like The Savage Curtain a lot. The episode is a bit weak in general, but the portrayal of Abraham Lincoln by Lee Bergere was absolutely perfect. There are many charming and humorous moments between Kirk and Lincoln. I'm also partial to actor Phillip Pine, who played the evil biological war-starter Colonel Green. He was in one of my favorite original Outer Limits episodes called The Hundred Days Of The Dragon. And also a great performance by Barry Atwater as the Vulcan philosopher/leader Surak.

Which is the best of the worst? Sheesh...
Season 3 has too much cheese factor. All of it. Plenty of better stuff in either season 1 or 2

I never understood why season 3 has such a bad rap.
Each season has a clunker or two, and Spock's Brain is the only bad episode I can recall.

SPECTRE OF THE GUN.
One of my favorite episodes of the entire series, not just season 3.

Agree 100%!. Season three has many of the best episodes of the entire series. My faves are:

Enterprise Incident
Spectre Of The Gun
Day Of The Dove
Paradise Syndrome
Let That Be Your Last Battlefield
