Actually, as soon as I heard about the new series, the first thing I told myself was "they better eat mice."

I recall the original V as boring and irritating, like watching somebody commit mass suicide, over and over.

Anybody got a link to it online? Prove me wrong.

I liked They Live better. Except for all the good guys dying, and the aliens winning.

I loved the original V back in the 80's. That's V the mini-series, V the Final Battle mini-series, and then the short-lived weekly series. The ladies with their big hair and spandex costumes, and the struggles of the brave resistance fighters was very compelling for this teenager.

I hope the writers of the new V have given Morena a chance to show her amazing range of talent, and I hope the story is grand, mysterious, and as compelling as the original was to me way back when.
